CRISES brings together scholars of different traditions, across the natural and social sciences, to develop a better understanding of the deep roots of the current social-ecological crisis, to raise consciousness and to collectively develop alternatives. CRISES stands for an engaged science, committed to combating rising irrationalism, accelerating global ecological destabilization, mounting inequality and other barriers to human emancipation.
